Occasionally, we gain clients when their current provider cannot provide service in a timely fashion. Or in this case, an emergency situation.
Client called needing someone to come out and look at what may be an irrigation system leak. First, we had to turn on the system (each sprinkler head) to determine where the leak was located. Once we were sure we located it, it had to carefully be dug up by hand (a 3 ft x 3 ft hole) to ensure there was no further damage to any underground pipes. We found the pipe was not installed properly (it was bowed and as a result there was a slight crack that was causing the leak). The pipe that was cracked had to be replaced and made sure it was sealed properly. Once that was accomplished, we replace the soil and grass properly to ensure it would continue to grow and not show the uprooting of the soil.
This was not a system that Hancock Irrigation had installed, but we were just happy to be of service. Prompt, friendly and tentative service, 24/7.
